Youth United participated in a free Eye Camp organised by Chandigarh Administration under Partnership Initiative Programme. Youth United in association with the Health Department of Chandigarh is also actively participating for a campaign against female foeticide. This activity was a part of the same. |

Contemplating the need to protect our environment, Youth United launched an online campaign on occasion of World Environment Day 2009 i.e. 5th june to save our earth. Following the UNEP's theme "Your Planet Needs You—UNITE to Combat Climate Change", aim was to enlighten people how they can save our earth by following simple practices.

After the success of Smiling Future-1, Youth United organized its annual event 'Smiling Future-2' on 28th March 2009. This event acts as a platform for the underprivileged students to showcase their talents. There were heart-touching performances given by students from six different schools for underprivileged children and mentally challenged children. Each of the performing school was given a donation from the funds thus collected. |
