It was some late oct or nov 07, winters were juss knocking around, one fine evening, i hear a knock at my door, i wonder whoz being so politely knocking the door ( ) and when i opened it was my senior at the other side, asking for my keyz(thats why he was so politely knocking the door in boyz hostel ), my scooter keyz , he said "yaar panga jeha ho gya.. aapa Y360 to YU ho gye", tilll then i knew Y360 by that scheme only when i purchased their first publication for Rs 10 . Till then i didn't know who was Joy, i had juss heard his name from his roomie, who took my keyz.

I use to wonder to wonder where the hell he takes my scooter, and when i come to know Noddy and his room-mate Joy use to take my scooter for mkting and all. By that time my scooter was an official asset of so called YU(yea i use to think like that by then).. Than i started saying to Noddy, "yaar ki scooter le ke turr jana, sada vi bhala karade, sanu vi join karade".. then he started takin me along with him in YU meetings, where i met Joy for the first time.. infact juss saw him.. there was no interaction..

My first official meeting was at the backside of stu-c, where proceedings about Rock n Roll workshop were on full swing, and plans were being charted out for the Smiling Future -I, the event which i used to call Rising Stars, Tarre Zameen Par, n blah blah.. could remember the name at that time

Started with publicity for Rock N Roll.. pasted posters in and arount PU, and then collected donations for SF-1, again poster work for the same.. by that time i was the official executive of YU (I suppose ), no interview, no HR forms nothing.. direct recruitment , started with an attitude of 'Just Like that',hoping to do something besides academics, I didn't get to know when i became responsible for YU, and when YU became an integral part of mine..i never knew one day i will start enjoying my work, my stay in YU, i never knew i will serve the society one day..

I had gained a lot from YU, Joy has alwaz been the inspiration factor, motivational factor for working with YU, i had watch him moving around so dedicatedly for YU, that it gives u essence of courage to do something, serve the people, to bring it from within you... besides working for the society it had helped me wrking for myself also.. I had never been the one what i am today.. still not much upto the levels, but evolving slowly and gradually.. working at different levels, holding the sense of responsibilities, along with that ever learning process.. it had been awesome experience, i had been through ups and only ups (no downs) of YU, i had alwaz given me immense pleasure..working with seniors juniors, in age and in academics, ppl from different fields, sharing their experiences, interacting with them, along wid that interacting wid the society, and ppl with different persona.. has alwaz been learining and delightful..

Also using this platform i would like to thnx everyone whoz been a part of this family for alwaz been my support and especially to Joy, for giving me this opportunity to experience all this, and also for trusting me at every level, and giving me responsibilities, which helped me nourishing my skills, and believing me and guiding me at every level of responsibility i had been given, don't knw whether i had proved my worth or not, but i had alwaz tried to give it my best.. n i alwaz will..
I would love to continue with YU, forever and ever..
